About Us
The Path to Learning program empowers children to mesh different ideas and activities with structured guidelines and technology. This thinking process, which will allow them to combine diverse ideas, will help them become better problem solvers. There are benchmarks from the assessment and teacher observation components that will reinforce the potential of the program in the classrooms.
The Path to Learning program has been designed with a strong academic focus. Each thematic unit provides authentic experiences to develop and enhance student learning in the areas of language arts, mathematics and social studies/science. The Path to Learning offers an integrated curriculum with core learning objectives and vocabulary through out each thematic unit. The Path to Learning curriculum provides students with a written expression opportunity with each activity which serves as the student reflection at the close of each lesson.
The Path to Learning program comes with 20 theme based lessons. For easy implementation a detailed background of the lesson, evaluation, and reflection questions are added as a baseline for the teacher. Each of the 20 lessons has enough supplies for 20 students to be engaged in the project. Vocabulary for each activity helps students apply knowledge of newly acquired terminology to unique, constructed situational lessons. Student pre, mid, and post written assessments are inclusive to measure the result of the program. Each theme is matched to Academic Standards of Learning.
